PHNOM PENH (2 Oct 2012) – After drawing Singapore’s Young Lions to a pulsating 3-3 draw a few days earlier, the Cambodian national side will take on Malaysia’s Harimau Muda at the Shah Alam Stadium tonight.
The Cambodians are preparing for the qualifying round of the AFF Suzuki Cup which will take place on 5-13 October 2012 in Yangon.
“Players have a lot of time to get to know each other, both in living and playing together,” said Hok Sochetra (pix), the chief coach of Cambodia.
In the meantime Sochetra revealed that defender Khek Khemarin may be ruled out for up to two weeks due to an ankle injury while midfielder Chhun Sothearath and midfieder Prak Mony Udom have now recovered from their minor health issues.
