PHNOM PENH (2 March 2013) – The Cambodian national team will take on the Harimau Muda squad in a friendly that will be played at the National Olympic Stadium on 6 March 2013.
The Cambodians are using the game to fine tune their squad ahead of the qualifying round of the AFC Challenge Cup 2013 where they have been placed in Group E against the Philippines, Turkmenistan and Brunei.
Their first match in the qualifiers will be against Turkmenistan on 22 March 2013. All matches in Group E will be played at the Rizal Memorial Stadium.
For the Malaysian Under-23 team, the game against Cambodia is their third in a series of friendly that saw them drawing scoreless against Myanmar in Yangon and then holding Laos 3-3 in Vientiane the previous week.
