BANGKOK (24 Nov 2013) – Buriram United scored their second treble in three years when they beat Ratchaburi 2-1 in the final of the Toyota League Cup final at the Thammasat Stadium.
It was Ratchaburi who drew first blood when Brazilian striker Douglas Gardozo opened account in the ninth minute as they then fought off Buriram’s incessant onslaught for long periods.
But just two minutes into the second half, Buriram fought back with the equaliser from Osmar Ibianez before Adisak Kraisorn then nailed the winner in the 64th minute.
Buriram had won earlier won the Thai Premier League and also the FA Cup.
