PHNOM PENH (Oct 22, 2007) – Build Bright University moved up to fourth in the Cambodian Premier League when they beat Red Eagle FC 4-2 at the National Olympic Stadium on the weekend.
In the match which both teams needed the points to improve their position into the top half of the league, Build Bright University got back into winning ways even though they had to come back from a goal down after Olecce had scored for the visitors in the 50th minute. Two quick goals within the space of just two minutes from Prom Putsithy (63rd minute) and Pech Saravoeun (64th) ensured that Build Bright grew in confidence as the match wore on. They added two more goals off Lansana Dukuray (83rd) and Ung Marady (88th) to pick up the full points although Olecce did score his and Red Eagle’s second of the afternoon deep in injury time. With a handful of matches still to play in the Cambodian Premier League, Phnom Penh Empire are still at the top of the standings with 23 points, Naga Corp FC on second with 20 points while third are Khemara Keila FC with 15 points.
