PHNOM PENH (3 June 2010) – An exhilarating 2-2 draw between defending champions Naga Corp FC and Phnom Penh Crown FC has allowed Build Bright United to stay top of the Metfone Cambodia League 2010 following their 4-1 demolition of struggling Chhma Khmao.
Naga, who have been on a winning streak in their last four matches of the league, had wanted to end the first leg of the league this year at the top of the table. But that hope soon turn sour when barely ten minutes into the game, they fell to an early second minute off striker Keo Songan before Justine Prince doubled Phnom Penh’s lead in the tenth minute of play. Naga recovered to slam the equaliser off Meas Channa on 13 minute for the score to be at 2-1. Following some resistance at the start of the first half, Tiep Vatanak then gave Naga Corp the all-important equaliser in the 78th minute and the valuable one point.
