BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN (10 July 2021) – Football in Brunei has gone through a rebranding where they have now switched to ‘Football Association of Brunei Darussalam’ (FABD).
It was previously known as the National Football Association of Brunei Darussalam (NFABD).
The move was made to reflect the association’s vision of delivering fresh and more robust developments so as to make the sport more sustainable.
The rebranding was also made to mirror the association’s growth and expansion within the last decade, since their establishment in 2011.
The association would like to achieve their first step to making football one of the viable sports that are in tune with national development initiatives by 2035.
FABD will also be using a new logo, designed by Maha’adi Mohd Aiani and Pengiran Hisyamuddin Pengiran Seri Jaya – the joint winners for ‘NFABD Rebrand Competition’ held last year.
