PHNOM PENH (29 June 2015) – The loss of several players did little to dent Boeung Ket Angkor FC’s confidence as they announced new signings this week – including Nigerian striker Gbenga Ajayi for the new season.
Incidentally, Ajayi is coming back to the Metfone Cambodia League for a second stint where he had previously played for Phnom Penh Crown FC from 2006-2008.
The 30-year-old Ajayi had previously played for Bangkok Glass United, Chonburi and Samut Sangkhram in the Thai Premier League.
The new Metfone Cambodia League 2015 will begin next month.
