PHNOM PENH (21 July 2015) – Boeung Ket Angkor made it point for point with defending champions Phnom Penh Crown as they take joint leadership of the Metfone Cambodia League 2015.
Boeung Ket blasted Svay Rieng 5-1 while Phnom Penh thumped Cambodian Mines Actions Center (CMAC) 4-1.
But Phnom Penh had to come back from a goal down from Tony Janzen’s 20th minute effort at the RSN Stadium before they were able to pick up the full points off goals from Shane Booysen (35th minute), Bin Thierry (58th), Va Sokthorn (67th) and George Bisan (78th).
Boeung Ket and Crown are now on the same 16 points each from six matches played.
Elsewhere, Western Phnom Penh fell to a 2-1 loss to Asia Europe United as National Defence Ministry drubbed Kirivong Sok Sen Chey 5-1.
