HANOI (30 June 2015) – Becamex Binh Duong ended round one of the Toyota V.League 1 on top following their easy 4-1 win over former champions Hoang Anh Gia Lai (HAGL) on the weekend at the Go Dau Stadium.
Playing at home gave Binh Duong all the confidence they needed with captain Nguyen Anh Duc scoring the lead early in the third minute off corner.
Au Van Hoan then doubled the advantage for Binh Duong when he latched on to a cross from Moses.
Five minutes into the second half and international striker Le Cong Vinh put Binh Duong 3-0 in front before Sanogo Moussa’s header in the 72nd minute pulled a goal back for HAGL.
But Binh Duong then made sure of the full points with the fourth goal of the game through Nguyen Trong Hoang.
Elswhere, Thanh Hoa beat Dong Tam Long An 4-3, while Quang Nam defeated Khanh Hoa 4-1.
Dong Nai lost to SHB Da Nang 1-2 as Hai Phong edged Dong Thap 2-1.
Quang Ninh Coal beat Song Lam Nghe An 1-0, and Hanoi T&T overcame Can Tho 4-1.
