HANOI (15 April 2015) – As Becamex Binh Duong maintained their position at the top of the Toyota V.League 1 with a 2-1 win over Dong Nai, Hoang Anh Gia Lai lost further pace when they fell to a 2-0 loss to Song Lam Nghe An at the Vinh Stadium.
Midfielder Pham Manh Hung volleyed from a corner early in the eighth minute before Tran Phi Son added the second with a long range shot in the 75th minute.
The win moved Song Lam Nghe An to fourth while the loss for Hoang Anh Gia Lai meant that they are stuck in the second half of the table.
Elsewhere, Hanoi T&T drew 1-1 against Hai Phong, while Thanh Hoa beat Dong Thap 3-1.
Dong Tam Long An moved up to third after their 1-0 win over Can Tho.
