BG Pathum United vs Buriram United semifinal second leg rescheduled to 7 May

KUALA LUMPUR (11 April 2025) – The ASEAN Football Federation (AFF) has confirmed that the second-leg semifinal of the ASEAN Club Championship Shopee Cup 2024/25 between BG Pathum United and Buriram United has been rescheduled to 7 May 2025.

Originally set for 30 April at Pathum Thani Stadium, the match has been moved following a formal request from Buriram United, who have advanced to the AFC Champions League Elite Round quarterfinals. The Elite Round, which is being staged in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, continues with Buriram’s quarterfinal clash against Al-Ahli Saudi FC on 27 March, with the semifinals and final scheduled from 30 April to 4 May.

The AFF acknowledges and appreciates the support and cooperation of the Football Association of Thailand (FAT), Thai League, BG Pathum United, and all stakeholders including SPORTFIVE, sponsors and broadcast partners in facilitating this adjustment.
