MALANG (21 Sept 2013) – A first-half strike from Beto gave Arema Indonesia a hard-fought 1-0 win over Loyola Meralco Sparks from the Philippines in Group B of the Menpora Cup that was played at the Kanjuruhan Stadium tonight.
Brazilian Beto struck the only goal of the game in the 21st minute to give the former Indonesia Super League (ISL) champions the full points.
In the meantime, Mitra Kukar thumped Persepam Madura 2-0 in the second game of the evening with a goal in each half.
Busari opened account in the 39th minute before a penalty from Guy Junior nine minutes to the end settled things in favour of Mitra.
