BANGKOK (1 April 2008) – BEC Tero Sasana have moved up to second in the Thai Premier League 2008 although TOT FC still hold the top spot for yet another week.
BEC Tero, who had started the week on fifth, improved their position considerably following their commanding 3-1 win over Nakornpratom FC at home. And their cause were given a nudge in the right direction when Chonburi FC, who were second previously, failed to get past Krung Thai Bank at home following a 1-1 draw. Tobbaco Monoply and Provincial Electric, who were third and fourth last week, faltered on their sixth match day as the former were locked in a scoreless draw against Bangkok Bank FC as Provincial Electric fell 2-0 to current league leaders TOT FC. After the sixth match day in the Thai Premier League 2008, only three teams have yet to concede a loss and they are TOT FC, Chonburi FC and Bangkok FC while Army FC are still without a win after three matches.
