VIENTIANE (21 May 2015) – The Laos Under-23 team picked up their second win in a friendly when they edged Thai Premier League outfit 2-1 last night in Bangkok.
After beating Thai Regional League side Rangsit two days ago, the match against BEC Tero was anything but easy as the top flight side pushed Laos to the limit.
But in the end, a goal in each half through 17-year-old Maitee in the 30th minute and then Vilayout Sayyabounsou a minute to the end would prove pivotal.
Laos’ third and final friendly would be against the Singapore U23 side in Singapore on 23 May.
