BARCODE SCANNERS AT NATIONAL STADIUM

VIENTIANE (20 Oct 2010) – To protect against counterfeit tickets at this year’s AFF Suzuki Cup 2010, barcode scanners will be introduced at this year’s qualifying round which will be played at the National Stadium here.

The barcode scanners will be placed at all six entrances to the stadium as the Laos organisers expect a bumper crowd for this year’s championship which they will be hosting for the first time ever.

With a capacity of around 20,000 at the National Stadium, the ticket pricing will range from 50,000kips (USD4) to 70,000kips (USD6).

Tickets have been on sale at several locations around the country since Monday and where they will also be made available on matchdays.
