 PHNOM PENH (13 Sept 2010) – Hosts Banteay Meanchey win the Cambodia Women Football Cup 2010 when they beat Siem Reap 4-1 in the final that was played this morning.
Banteay made the final of the inaugural meet when they beat Steung Trang 1-0 in the semi-final as Siem Reap delivered a shocker when they beat favourites Battambang 5-4 in the other tie. In the meantime, Battambang regained some measure of satisfaction when they emerged third in the competition this year with a 3-1 win over Steung Trang. |
