AUSTDOOR SIGN WITH VFF FOR WOMEN’S CHAMPIONSHIP

HANOI (17 March 2009) – With less than a week to the big kick-off, the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) have signed with AUSTDOOR Company to sponsor the National Women’s Championship which is due to begin on 24 March 2009.

Now to be known as the National Women Championship-AUSTDOOR Cup 2009, there will be a total of six teams taking part in the meet this year.

The six participating teams are Hanoi, Hoa Hop Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City FC, Phong Phu Ha Nam, Thai Nguyen and Than Khoang San Vietnam.

The format of competition is a round-robin to be played over two legs with the first kick-off from 24 March to 11 April 2009 in Thai Nguyen province.

The second kick-off will be from 18 April to 6 May in Hanoi.

In the meantime, Huu Lien A Chau JSC have signed a sponsorship deal with the VFF to sponsor the Vietnam National team and also the Vietnam Under 23 squad.

Founded in 1978, Huu Lien A Chau JSC’s main commercial activities are steel production and material for the construction industry.
