ASEAN Football Federation confirms semi-final first-leg match schedule and kick-off times for the ASEAN Club Championship Shopee Cup™

SINGAPORE (17 March 2025) – The ASEAN Football Federation (AFF) has confirmed the dates and venues for the semi-final first leg matches of the inaugural ASEAN Club Championship Shopee Cup™ with PSM Makassar of Indonesia scheduled to play at their home ground for the first time in the competition, following the completion of renovation work at the Gelora B.J. Habibie Stadium in Pare Pare.

The Indonesian club played their home games during the Shopee Cup™ group stage in Balikpapan and Bali. However, with the Habibie Stadium approved for play by an AFF inspection team, they will now have the opportunity to play in front of their home fans when they host the first leg of their semi-final against Công An Hà Nôi FC of Vietnam on Wednesday 2 April.

Thai League 1 rivals Buriram United and BG Pathum United will meet in the other Shopee Cup™ semi-final with the first leg on 2 April at Buriram Stadium.

The dates and kick-off times for the second leg matches will be announced soon. The semi-final winners will progress to the final, which will be played over two legs on May 14 and 21.

The teams advanced to the final four after they finished in the top two places of their respective sections during the round-robin group stage.

BG Pathum United topped Group A with 11 points, one ahead of runners-up PSM Makassar, in a section which also included PKR Svay Rieng FC of Cambodia, Terengganu FC of Malaysia, Đông Á Thanh Hóa FC of Vietnam and Shan United FC of Myanmar.

Công An Hà Nôi FC dominated Group B with victories in all five of their games against Buriram United, Kuala Lumpur City FC of Malaysia, Borneo FC Samarinda of Indonesia, Lion City Sailors of Singapore and Kaya FC – Iloilo of the Philippines. Buriram United finished second after a 1-0 home win over Kuala Lumpur City FC in their final group game.
