HANOI (4 August 2014) – Millions of Southeast Asian football fans will be tuning in for AFF Suzuki Cup 2014 draw which takes place in the city of Hanoi tomorrow afternoon.
And with less than 24 hours to go to the draw here at the Sheraton Hanoi (pix), fans are eagerly awaiting for the outcome to find out whom their teams will have for company when the tournament kicks-off in November.
For tomorrow’s draw, defending champions Singapore and Vietnam, as hosts, will be separated.
Joining the hosts will be Malaysia, Philippines, Indonesia and Thailand, and two other yet to be finalised qualifiers.
Myanmar, Laos, Cambodia, Timor Leste and Brunei will battle for the two slots in the qualifying round which will be held in Vietiane, Laos from 12-20 Oct. The five teams will compete in a league format with the top two teams advancing.
The AFF Suzuki Cup 2014 will open on 22 Nov and will conclude with the second leg final on 20 Dec.
