BANGKOK (10 Nov 2018) – Any striker who hit six goals in one game would have felt a certain sense of sheer personal elation – but not Adisak Kraisorn.
The Thai hitman who led Thailand to a 7-0 whipping of Timor Leste last night at the Rajamangala National Stadium, was quick to thank his coach and also the whole team for allowing him to stand tall as the current Top Goal Scorer.
“I think that I have to thank the coach for believing in me and giving me this opportunity to play after being injured for quite a while,” said Adisak, who was deservedly accorded the Man of the Match award
“And also I have to thank the whole team for allowing me the opportunity to score the six goals. It would not have been possible without the whole team playing together.”
Following the absence of star striker Teerasil Dangda, there was a worry that Thailand might be lacking their usual firepower.
But Adisak and also later substitute Supachai Chaided showed that it is business as usual as they slammed in seven goals between them past a hapless Timor side.
Adisak, who is a big ultraman fan, almost missed making the squad for the AFF Suzuki Cup 2018 after going through an ACL operation earlier this year.
