SINGAPORE (16 Oct 2012) – After the last few uninspiring results, Singapore and Malaysia scored identical wins over their respective opponents while Vietnam and Indonesia once again battled to another deadlock.
Three times champions Singapore – the winners in 1998, 2004 and 2007 – who had conceded a loss (to the Philippines) and then a draw (against Myanmar) in their last two matches – emerged victorious at the Choa Chu Kang Stadium when they beat India 2-0.
