JAKARTA (2 Nov 2012) – Sudan have been confirmed as the final test for Indonesia as the two teams gear up for the AFF Suzuki Cup 2012.
Indonesia will entertain Sudan on 14 November 2012 at the Gelora Bung Karno Stadium in Jakarta.
Sudan, ranked 100th in FIFA’s world rankings, replaced the Philippines which Indonesia were hoping to play against in Bali.
“We have already received the letter of confirmation from the Sudan Football Association (SFA) that was signed by Maqdi Shams Eldin (the general secretary),” said Habil Marati, the team manager of the Indonesia national team.
“This will be an important game for us. We need this match to assess the level of our preparation. They will show our quality for sure.”
Indonesia are in Group B of the AFF Suzuki Cup 2012. The other teams are hosts Malaysia, Singapore and Laos with the first match day slated for 25 November 2012.
