BANGKOK (25 Oct 2012) – With the Thai Premier League (TPL) still heading into the final few games of the season Winfried Shaefer, the chief coach of Thailand, has named his squad of 35 players for the AFF Suzuki Cup next month.
Among the surprise is the recall on Bangkok United’s striker Sompong Soleb, who was told to leave at the last Thai camp and the first ever call-up for 34-year-old Army United defender Chaiwat Nak-iem.
Thailand are hosting Group A of the AFF Suzuki Cup 2012 where they will be up against Vietnam, Philippines and Myanmar.
