Radojko Avramovic – Singapore chief coach
“This group of players has shown a high performance in play and they must continue to do in the next game. It will be another tough game but I think that we can overcome it and win the game.
There’s a big possibility that Saiful (Esah, defender) will play tomorrow and we need to put a lot of pressure when we are playing Laos. Harris (Harun) is out of the game but I think that we will have enough quality.
We will obviously be looking for a win and qualify into the next round.
At the end of the day, the players will decide whether we win or lose.”
Khampheng Sayavutthi, Laos midfielder
Kokichi Kimura – Laos chief coach
“It is our last match and we will have a slim chance of going through to the next round. It is a game, we must win.
It will not be an easy game even though Laos have an outside chance of making through. There are some small injuries but it will not be a big problem for the match.
Singapore have many older players while Loas are using a lot of newcomers. We will have to give 110% play tomorrow.
Actually, I was quite shock with the level of play of countries like Malaysia, Indonesia and the Philippines. You never know, in ten years’ time, there might be a country from ASEAN playing in the FIFA World Cup. All we have to do it to keep at it. Never give up.”
