KUALA LUMPUR (22 Nov 2012) – Radojko Avramovic, the chief coach of Singapore, thinks this year’s AFF Suzuki Cup will spring some surprises as many teams are poised to grow out of their underdog status.
Avramovic said no team was the clear favourite to lift the trophy as most were equally strong.
“The tournament has been very important to the teams in South-East Asia as the battle between us takes place every two years to determine the best,” he said upon arrival with the republic’s team for the tournament which starts this weekend.
