KUALA LUMPUR (22 Nov 2012) – IT was a historic day for the Malaysian national team at Wisma FAM.
Not only did the FA of Malaysia (FAM) president Sultan of Pahang Sultan Ahmad Shah made a visit, but Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak and Sport Minister Datuk Seri Ahmad Shabery Cheek also came to give the team further motivation.
Najib’s visit was a historic affair as it was the first time the country’s Premier had visited the national training camp.
“I believe it is an honour to wear the national colours. It is a special privilege whereby the players are chosen to uphold the image of the country.
“Winning or losing will depend on the circumstances and luck but you have to give your 100 per cent commitment and work as a team,” Najib told the players.
