YANGON (18 Nov 2012) – It was all even in Yangon and Hanoi as both Myanmar and Vietnam scored to identical 1-1 draw in their respective friendlies as they gear up for the AFF Suzuki Cup 2012 next week.
Myanmar were held yet again in their second friendly match against Japanese Second division side Fagiano Okayama while Vietnam could not get past V-League side Khatoco Khan Hoa.
At the Youth Training Centre in Thuwunna, it was visitors who took the lead first when Takayoshi Ishihara gave Fagiano the lead on 24 minute before young midfielder Mai Aih Naing struck the equaliser for Myanmar seven minutes after the restart.
At the Nha Trang Stadium, Le Cong Vinh gave Vietnam the lead on 26 minute as Le Van Tan restored parity for Khatoco Than Hoa in the 48th minute.
