PETALING JAYA (17 Nov 2012) – Fans of the Malaysia national football team have a unique opportunity to meet some of their heroes and get their autographs when coach Datuk K. Rajagobal and four key players from the victorious 2010 AFF Suzuki Cup squad will attend a special ‘Meet the Fans session’ near Kuala Lumpur tomorrow.
The event at the AEON Bukit Raja Shopping Centre in Klang on Sunday, 18 November 2012 will feature team captain Safiq Rahim, goalkeeper Khairul Fahmi Che Mat, forward Norshahrul Idlan Taha and hotshot striker Safee Sali – the leading scorer at the last edition of the AFF Suzuki Cup.
Coach Rajagobal, his coaching staff and his players will be arriving at the shopping mall at 4.00pm for the event and they will address the crowd and be interviewed before taking part in an hour-long autograph session.
With the team gearing up in their final preparations for the upcoming AFF Suzuki Cup, the Meet the Fans session will give Harimau Malaya supporters a chance to wish the team well before they begin the defence of their ASEAN regional title against Singapore on 25 November at the National Stadium in Bukit Jalil.
Malaysia are the hosts of Group B where they will also face Laos and Indonesia in the preliminary round.
