VIENTIANE (9 March 2014) – With the top two teams battling to a stalemate, it has allowed Army FC to move up to within a point of the leaders following their easy 3-0 win over Yotha FC.
Army had a hat-trick from Kita to thank for the win when he found the back of the net in the 38th, 50th and 58th minute.
In the meantime, defending champions and leaders Lao Police FC held Ha-Attapeu FC to a 3-3 draw as Lanexang Intra FC were held scoreless by Eastern Star FC.
Lao Toyota FC edged SHB Champasak 2-1.
