JAKARTA (1 Dec 2013) – Indonesian Under-23 striker Andik Vermansyah has signed for Malaysian Super League (MSL) outfit Selangor. The frontman of Persebaya 1927 had previously attended trials with J-League side Ventforet Kofu.
But this week it was announced that Andik, who will be spearheading Indonesia’s challenge at the SEA Games next week, has decided to play in Malaysia instead.
“Selangor FA gave a much better offer than Ventforet Kofu,” said Andik’s agent Muli Munial.
It is believed that Andik will receive at least USD 131,000 a season.
