PHNOM PENH (25 April 2011) – Former champions Naga Corp FC were held to a 2-2 draw by Build Bright United in a lively encounter at the National Olympic Stadium in Phnom Penh.
An own goal from Build Bright’s Reung Bunheing in the very first minute of play gave Naga Corp the confidence and the impetus for them to double their lead off Kob Sa in the 18th minute.
Build Bright then pulled a goal back from Nuth Sinuon in the 31st minute for the score to stand at 2-1 to Naga’s advantage.
With seconds remaining in the first half, both Naga (Chea Virath) and Build Bright (Nuth Sinuon) lost a man each when they were sent off from the game by referee Lim Bunthoeurn.
Some lax defending immediately after the restart allowed Build Bright to draw level with their second goal and the crucial equaliser from Oum Chandara a minute into the second half for both teams to share points.
