PETALING JAYA (4 Dec 2014) – Vietnam coach Toshiya Miura is concerned about the difference in the prevailing weather conditions between Hanoi and Shah Alam when they take on Malaysia in the first leg, semi-finals of the AFF Suzuki Cup this Sunday.
The weather in Hanoi is currently 18 degrees celcius while Malaysia in spite of the persistent daily rain hovers at 32 degrees. And it is because of this that Miura decided to fly the team into Malaysia yesterday so that they can get better acclimatised.
“The weather is a cause for concern but I hope that with the extra few days, the team will be in a better condition,” said Miura. “I have not yet decided how we will play this semi-final against Malaysia.
“There is still some time yet, so we will see.”
The only player who will not see action this Sunday is Vu Minh Tuan (pix) who will be suspended for two yellow cards offence.
