SINGAPORE (5 July 2014) – The Singapore national team has lined up friendlies against Russian sides Torpedo Moscow and also Dinamo Moscow as part of their preparation for the AFF Suzuki Cup at the end of the year.
The squad under Bernd Stange will be in Salzburg, Austria on 7-23 July where other than the two matches, they will also take on Czech side FC Brno.
“It is an excellent opportunity for our players to be playing against European professionals,” said Stange.
“Having daily training in such an ideal environment and playing against good players will definitely help in our preparations for the AFF Suzuki Cup at the end of the year. I am also using this trip as an opportunity to select the best players for the big match against Juventus on 16 August.”
