MANILA (19 July 2012) – The Philippines national team will take on Chicago Inferno and the US Virgin Islands national side in the P/E Capital Investments Invitational Cup next month.
The team which is being prepared for the AFF Suzuki Cup 2012 in November will be visiting Chicago and Indianapolis for several exhibition games in the United States.
According to Examiner, the Philippines team will play against the Chicago Inferno at the Wheaton’s Joe Bean stadium on 11 August before taking on
the US Virgin Islands’ Dashing Eagle six days later.
For the AFF Suzuki Cup 2012, the Philippines are in Group A against hosts Thailand and Vietnam as well as the winner of the qualifying round in October.
