BANGKOK (17 Dec 2014) – With a few hours to go before the kick-off of the first-leg AFF Suzuki Cup final, a massive crowd has already decended in and around the Hua Mak Sports Complex. In what looks like a sea of blue, the Thai fans started making their way to the complex as early as this afternoon.
The venue of the final, the Rajamangala Stadium, is situated within the complex.
Although announced that tickets were already sold-out days ago, many fans were still trying to get their hand on some. However, the FA of Thailand have set-up giant screens outside the stadium for the benefit of those who are unable to purchase tickets.
The fans got really excited some two hours ahead of the start when the Thai team, led by coach Kiatisuk Senamuang, stopped at a shrine just outside the complex to pray. The fans swarmed the team’s bus ina bid to get pictures of their heroes.
