JAKARTA (10 Sept 2014) – Following the scoreless draw against Yemen last night, the FA of Indonesia (PSSI) are planning to draw up two more matches this month as part of the national team’s preparation for the AFF Suzuki Cup in November.
Up this point, Indonesia had already penned in the game against Yemen and against neighbours Malaysia as the two confirmed friendlies. They will take on Malaysia at the Gelora Delta Stadium in Sidoarjo this Sunday.
“We are planning to play four matches this month. Those that are confirmed was the match against Yemen in Sleman and then against Malaysia on Sunday,” said Joko Driyono, the general secretary of the PSSI.
“We are quite confident that we can draw up the remaining two friendlies, slated for 22 and also 30 September.”
