JAKARTA (30 May 2014) – The FA of Indonesia (PSSI) are lining up several friendlies as they look to grab their first ever crown of the AFF Suzuki Cup at the end of the year.
Joko Driyono, the general secretary of the PSSI, said that they have already contacted the Myanmar Football Federation (MFF) and also the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF).
“We have already contacted both Myanmar and also Vietnam,” said Joko. “In these two months of June and July, we are already looking at playing some matches. We need these matches to prepared for the AFF Suzuki Cup at the end of the year.
“Both countries have already agreed to play in Jakarta. It is only the date of these matches which we need to put to paper.”
The last match for Indonesia was their 1-0 win over the ASEAN All-Stars on 11 May 2014.
