HANOI (27 August 2014) – Vietnam have called up new players to join the squad as they gear up for the AFF Futsal Championship next month.
The AFF Futsal Championship will be played on 19-27 September in Shah Alam, Malaysia.
The team under newly-appointed chief coach Bruno Jose Garcia Formoso has called up Dinh Hung, Van Kha, Anh Tung, Thai Huy, and Thai Hoa.
The team is training in Ho Chi Minh City before leaving for Thailand tomorrow for a 10-day camp and friendly matches.
For the AFF Futsal Championship this year, Vietnam are in Group B against Laos, Myanmar, the Philippines and Thailand.
Group A are hosts Malaysia, Australia, Brunei, Indonesia and Timor Leste.
