DILI (25 April 2012) – An AFC Taskforce met with the representatives of the FA of Indonesia (PSSI) and also the breakaway Indonesian Super League (ISL) this week.
The AFC Taskforce was led by AFC Vice-President HRH Prince Abdullah Ibni Sultan Ahmad Shah and FIFA Executive Committee Member Dato’ Worawi Makudi. Also present were AFC General Secretary Dato’ Alex Soosay and the Director of the AFC Member Association/International Relations & Development James Johnson.
Both the PSSI and the ISL presented their position and views to the AFC Taskforce and discussed several issues affecting Indonesian football. The meeting concluded with both sides agreeing to hold further discussions in the best interests of the Indonesian game.
