AFC President and ASEAN heads discuss development in Southeast Asia

KUALA LUMPUR (19 Oct 2022) – Shaikh Salman bin Ebrahim Al Khalifa, President of the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) met with the President and the General Secretary of the ASEAN Football Federation (AFF), Major General Khiev Sameth and Winston Lee respectively on Wednesday to discuss scopes of development in Southeast Asian football.

Southeast Asia made noticeable strides in 2022, in AFC Competitions as well as in upholding the AFC’s mission of undertaking effective social responsibility campaigns and Shaikh Salman showed his appreciation for the efforts displayed by the Member Associations (MAs) and the AFF.
