ABSENCE OF DUO FOR KING’S CUP

The duo ¨C Thach Bao Khanh and Tran Duc Duong ¨C are among several Under-21 squad players who have been called to the national team.

The injuries have kept them out of the national training squad preparing for the King’s Cup and the Asean Football Championship.

Vietnam team officials however are hopeful that the duo will recover in time for the all-important Asean Football Championship which will be held in Bangkok and Singapore.

The Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) called up 25 players for national training which began here last week.
