PHNOM PENH (29 April 2012) – Strugglers Chhlam Samut found life in the Metfone Cambodia League a lot harder to bear this week when they found themselves at the wrong end of a rampaging Naga Corp FC side who put eight goals past them. Naga won the tie 8-1.
Choun Chum was the biggest scorer of the day with four goals when he found the back of the net on tenth minute (penalty), 59th, 64th and 70th minute. The other goals for the former champions were scored by Om Thavrak in the third minute, Nwafor Tobe Kenneth (8th), Sunsovanrithy (20th) and Teab Vathanak (46th).
The only goal from Chhlam Samut was scored by Ros Somoeurn nine minutes to the end.
In the meantime, Build Bright United bounced back from their loss to Naga last week to beat National Defense Ministry FC 1-0 with the only goal of the game coming in the 85th minute from Pich Sena.
