HANOI (14 Sept 2010) – A total of 30 participants from Vietnam successfully completed the FIFA/AFF Administration and Management Course which was held at the new headquarters of the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) here in Hanoi.
Other than a handful of members from the VFF themselves – which range from the administration department, international department, referee department, accounting department and several others – the course was also attended by the editor-in-chief of the Football newspaper, Nguyen Van Phu. The three day course from 10-14 Sept was conducted by Samuel G. Panthradil from Singapore and John Boulos from Australia. Among the subjects covered were FIFA and their development activities which encompassed Confederation and Member Associations’ structures, activities and responsibilities, Competitions, Finance, Planning and Marketing. Other topics include FIFA Statutes and Regulations, General Management, Event Management and Security Guidelines, Club Management and Communications. The general secretary of the VFF, Dr. Tran Quoc Tuan was also present at the closing ceremony when certificates of participations were handed out. |
