24 PROVINCES TO TAKE PART IN U15 MEET

PHNOM PENH (31 July 2008) – Twenty-four cities and provinces will be taking part in the National Under-15 Championship 2008 – organised by the Football Federation of Cambodia (FFC) from 9 Aug – 13 Sept, 2008.

With the quarter-finals scheduled to be played at the National Olympic Stadium in Phnom Penh, the four venues involved at the provincial centres are Kampot Province Centre, Prey Veng Province, Banteay Meanchey Province and Kampong Cham Province.

The teams playing at the Kampot Province Centre are Kampot Province, Kep City, Takeo Province, Koh Kong Province, Sihanouk Ville and Kampong Speu Province.

Those at Prey Veng Province are Prey Veng Province, Kampong Chhnang Province, Svay Rieng Province, Phnom Penh, Kandal Province and Kampong Thom Province.

Banteay Meanchey Province will have Banteay Meanchey Province, Siem Reap Province, Battambang Province, Peilin City, Pursat Province and Odar Meanchey Province.

At Kampong Cham Province, teams taking part are Kampong Cham Province, Kratie Province, Preah Vihea Province, Steung Treng, Mondul Kiri Province and Ratanak Kiri Province.

The teams taking part in each province will be divided into two groups with only the group winner making it to the quarter-finals.
