MANILA (27 April 2013) – A total of 1,600 players will take to the field for the preliminary round of the United Football League (UFL) Youth which kicks off today at the Emperador Stadium.
The Youth League teams will compete in the Under-9, Under-11, Under-13, Under-15, Under-17, and Under-19 divisions where apart from the Emperador Stadium; they will also play at Ascom, Evia, Nuvali, and the University of Makati.
Among the competing teams are UFL clubs Global, Loyola, Kaya, Pasargad, Green Archers United, and Socceroo. The finals will be played in June.
