YANGON (6 May 2010) - Myanmar’s Yangon United have parted ways with Peter Butler following events which they described as being uninspiring.

Yangon have dropped a total of ten points after six games into the Myanmar National League 2010 season - winning two matches, drawing twice and losing twice as well.

They city side have only raked up only eight points from a possible 18 points.

And following their 2-1 loss to 10-man Delta United on Sunday, the Yangon United team management decided to take action where apart from doing away with Butler, they have also decided to seek reinforcement with quality local and also some foreign players when the transfer window opens in June.

They also terminated the contract of Brazilian striker Julio Cesar, who has yet to play a game for the team, while at the same time Yangon also issued warnings to some of the players.

Myo Hlaing Win has been appointed as the new chief coach while Samuel Hanson has been assigned the new captain.
