| MYANMAR EDGE INDONESIA FOR THIRD GRAND ROYAL CHALLENGE CUP CROWN

YANGON (22 Nov 2008) A brace from striker Soe Myat Min was enough to give Myanmar their third successive title in the Grand Royal Challenge Cup when they beat Indonesia 2-1 in the final that was played at the Thuwunna Youth Training Centre Stadium.
The Myanmar Under-23 team won the first title in the Grand Royal Challenge Cup in 2005 before the Myanmar national team took the second title the year after.

YANGON (20 Nov 2008) Firman Utina converted the crucial sudden death penalty against Ulsan Hyundai to put Indonesia in the final of the Grand Royal Challenge Cup 2008 where they will face hosts Myanmar tomorrow.
In the match that was played at the Thuwunna Youth Training Centre Stadium last night, the score at the end of regulation and extra time was scoreless even though Ulsan did miss a penalty late in the second half. |

| MYAT MINS HAT-TRICK PUTS MYANMAR IN FINAL

YANGON (19 Nov 2008) A hat-trick from veteran striker Soe Myat Min drove Myanmar to triumph over Malaysia 4-1 in the semi-finals of the Grand Royal Challenge Cup 2008 at the Thuwanna Youth Training Centre Stadium last night.
Myanmar, who had lost to Malaysia in the final of the Merdeka Tournament last year and also in the semi-finals of the same tournament last month, scored two goals in each half for the win.

| MYANMAR TAKE ON MALAYSIA; INDONESIA TO PLAY HYUNDAI

YANGON (18 Nov 2008) Hosts Myanmar will take on Malaysia in the semi-finals of the Grand Royal Challenge Cup 2008 which will be played later tonight at the Thuwanna Youth Training Centre Stadium.
Malaysia ended the group match on second following the 4-1 win Ulsan Hyundai notched against Vietnam which ensured the side from South Korea the top spot in Group B.
