| AFF SUZUKI CUP 2008: CHAMPS SINGAPORE AND THAILAND IN DIFFERENT GROUPS |

JAKARTA (August 27, 2008) – Defending champions Singapore and 2006 runners-up Thailand landed in different groups when the draw of the AFF Suzuki Cup 2008 was staged at a leading hotel here today.
Today’s ceremony was attended by Dato’ Worawi Makudi, the FA of Thailand President, Mr Kenichi Ayukawa, Suzuki’s Deputy Executive General Manager – Global Marketing and AFF Council members. |

JAKARTA (August 27, 2008) – The following are comments from the various team officials after the draw ceremony for the AFF Suzuki Cup 2008 here today.
Two Press Conferences were held immediately after lunch. The first one was for the five teams competing in the qualifying competition while the next one was for the six teams in the main draw. |

| AFF CHAMPIONSHIP DRAW ON AUG 27 IN JAKARTA |

PETALING JAYA (14 July 2008) – The draw for the prestigious Asean Football Federation (AFF) Championship will be conducted in Jakarta on August 27.
The date for the draw was decided by the AFF at a meeting held here yesterday.
The qualifying rounds for the AFF Championship will be staged in Cambodia from Oct 17 to 25 where five nations will battle for the two available slots in the final rounds later in the year. |

| PHILIPPINES THE BIGGEST ASIAN MOVER IN JUNE |

MANILA (1 July 2008) – Philippines were the biggest Asian mover in June when they climbed 19 rungs to be ranked 170th in the FIFA/Coca-Cola World Ranking.
This marked improvement follows their inspiring performance at the recent AFC Challenge Cup, where they stayed undefeated in the qualifiers to finish level on points with reigning champions Tajikistan. |
